Have you ever wanted to voice your ideas for new community trail projects? Or speak with other trail users about keeping trails open and sustainable? Then join UVTA on March 27th for a public forum and learning sessions about all things trails!

Topics to be offered in learning sessions include:
    • Trail Finder Demonstration – Demo of how to use the online trail resource to find new trails around VT/NH.
    • Trail Ethics and Conflicts - How to use trails responsibly. How to manage conflicting trail uses. Leave no trace. Recreation, wildlife and conservation.
    • Trail Protections – A discussion of the ways trails can be protected for the long run: Use agreements, trail licenses, trail easements and ROW. Who, how and when to use them.
    • Community Needs for Trails and Recreation – Attendees can share what they think is still needed in the Upper Valley in terms of trail infrastructure, connectivity, etc.
    • Trail Organization and Manager Needs – Engage with community organizations, trail groups, municipalities, etc. about what they need in terms of planning, workshops and education, resources, equipment, advocacy, and partnerships to get more work done.
    • Hot Topics in Trail Maintenance – Basic rules and new techniques to keep our trails in good shape.
